When Jon and Jenni approached me to photograph their wedding at Addington Palace I was excited to say the least. Its one of the most beautiful venues in Surrey, and somewhere I’ve always wanted to shoot. They are also a really lovely couple and when they told me what they had planned I was even more excited.
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful Spring wedding of James and Laura Rawdon, at the stunning purpose built Turkey Mill in Maidstone. Having previously photographed their pre-wedding shoot in Central London
My first wedding of 2013 will be in The Orangery at Turkey Mill in Maidstone, a beautiful purpose built venue and to say that I’m excited is an understatement! What makes it even more amazing is that the groom, Jim, is a good friend of mine and when he and Laura asked me to be their Turkey Mill Wedding Photographer, I was absolutley thrilled.
This year I’ve had the privilige to 2nd shoot for some fellow wedding photographers and made some great friends along the way. Being a second shooter is something I really enjoy, as it gives me a great opportunity to develop my reportage style wedding photography.
My first wedding this year took place at the China Boulevard restaurant in Wandsworth and was anything but conventional. I was lucky enough to photograph a wedding that blended two Asian cultures, Chinese and Bangladeshi, and the results were stunning.
In July this year I photographed the beautiful wedding of Paul and Nicola Lindley at St Nicholas Church in Godstone, Surrey. After the ceremony the guests took a lakeside stroll to the reception at the historic White Hart Barn, where they were treated to a wonderful vintage tea party complete with antique china, delicious cupcakes and an array of pastries.

The convention is a week long event incorporating talks, classes and workshops from some of the best photographers in the world, as well as a trade show and an annual awards dinner (more on that later). So with my tickets booked, redbull packed and notebook ready, I braced myself for four days of photography heaven. And I wasn’t disappointed..
Rich and Jemma’s wonderful September wedding took place at the beautiful Manor of Groves in Sawbridgeworth. Sawbridgeworth is also home to “Beckingham Palace”, David and Victoria’s original country residence, but on this occasion there was only room for one celebrity couple and Rich and Jemma more than fitted the bill.
Back in August of this year I was fortunate enough to photograph the fantastic wedding of Dave and Jemma Fortey at the Priory Hotel in Bury St Edmunds. I can honestly say that they are one of the nicest couples I have met and had a real sense of fun.
I recently did some actor 8 x10's for my friend Ben Bishop. Ben is a successful British actor who has appeared on stage, film and TV in dramas such as my Ashes to Ashes and more recently the ITV 1 crime drama Whitechapel, which returns to our screens this Autumn. To...
